Sony's latest Camcorder - HDR-SR5C

Sony has introduced its latest Camcorder - HDR-SR5C, which includes a built-in 100GB hard drive and is capable of capturing high-definition video. It also has 10x optical/80x digital zoom. Along with that 100GB’s of storage the Sony HDR-SR5C camcorder features a wide 2.7 inch touch panel with menus on the screen to navigate settings along with viewing and managing recorded files.


In this model Sony has added the ability to record and zoom through the touch screen interface, which was previously only possible through manual buttons. It also features the recording rate from 60 to 240 fields per second in order to analyze and play back things which allow users to capture 3 seconds of fast motion and play the video back in 12 seconds. The NightShot Infrared System can record subjects from up to 20 feet.


The HDR-SR5C also has wide angle shooting, Dolby 5.1 audio recording, a Carl Zeiss lens, memory stick that can capture 2.1 megapixel still images instead of saving them on the hard drive and the ability to record still image shots while recording video at the same time. This 100GB camcorder will provide around 13 hours to 70 hours of recording and playback time depending on the recording quality you choose.
